About us
The private museum MAGICUM, Berlin Magic Museum was founded in 2014 by the married couple Auguste Gischler and Rob Brown. As former dancers, they were engaged at various international theatres. For many years, they had the privilege of dancing on the MS Deutschland – Das Traumschiff- and travelled around the world with it. On their journeys, they gathered knowledge and artifacts from different cultures. The idea of MAGICUM was born.

Auguste Gischler and Rob Brown grew up with diverse cultural influences. Their roots extend not only across different continents, but also across different cultural lifestyles. This heritage can also be found in the museum.
The museum combines elements of theatre with a thematic focus on aspects of global colourfulness and diversity. The founders are working to this day on creating a poetic place where everyone can feel welcome.
